I appreciate this video not just because of the skill of the rider, but because of the way it is captured. It really does him justice, and the way he is depicted in different camera angles, different points of view and paired with the beautiful landscape makes it a 'poetic' piece of video.
The choice of music is also vital in creating this peaceful mood. If a heavy metal song was played, for example, the mood would be ruined and the video would have little or no effect on me. The music itself is a crucial part of the final video, therefore if I choose a backing track it should have relevance to the mood. It needs to enhance the video, rather than just being there just because it's a bit of good music.
